This story is absolutely heart-wrenching and the only thing more painful to read will be the 'The End' at the finish of it; which, hopefully, won't be for awhile! (though I doubt anyone would chose to have this end sooner than later) Wonderfully written, beautiful characterisation. Just. Stunning. So, so stunning.
